HOW TO MAKE GINGER BEER

You Need

Steps

  1. Peel the ginger
  2. Juice it and strain it to remove the juicy bits
  3. Make sure you got ALL of the bits out... unless you like bits... so why not keep a few bits?
  4. Make the concoction with your bitty juice
  5. Mix ingredients together
  6. Place a bit of habanero and a "smidgen" of yeast in each bottle
  7. Pour the concoction into the bottles, filling it about an inch below the top
  8. Cap the bottles and swirl them, clockwise, upside down, and anti-clockwise a "few" times
  9. Leave bottles at room temperature for 28 HOURS- don't even think about adjusting the temperature in your house, you impatient Americans! Be lukewarm for a mere 28 hours and experience bliss
  10. QUICK! QUICK! Refrigerate NOW! Stop the fermentation process!
